Mesa Verde Tours

Mesa Verde Tours are the best way to see all the most popular attractions. Ranger Guided Tours are only available at certain cliff dwellings throughout the day and require tickets. Tickets for daily tours must be purchased at the Visitor Center the same day. The rest of the park is self-guided. While guiding yourself around the park is great, the best and most interesting cliff dwellings and history are easy to miss without a plan. Therefor, it is important to have a plan for your day. The drives between attractions can be long and time consuming.

Full Day Mesa Verde Tours

The Mesa Verde National Park Tour was created to offer a full day which incorporates the best of Mesa Verde while customizing each tour to the needs of the group. On a Mesa Verde Tour your personal park expert will walk you through a historical timeline and unveil the culture of the Ancestral Pueblos who built the cliff dwellings and farmed the area. In addition to the Mesa Verde Tour,Private Park Tours are also available for your group. Most of all, they are completely customized and include transportation to and from wherever you are staying in Southwest Colorado.

Special Park Tours

Mesa Verde also offers many special tours throughout year. All these tours are ranger guided, vary every season, and require reservations through recreation.gov. These special tours can also be integrated into our Mesa Verde Tours. While some are half day hikes to rarely seen and visited dwelling sites, others are simply specialized for photographers, bikers, and cultural enthusiasts. The Balcony House Sunrise Tour or Cliff Palace Twilight Tour is a must for anyone interested in photography. The tours are designed to capture the “Golden Hour” light. Bike enthusiasts will appreciate the Wetherill Mesa Bike & Hike Tour offered two days a week from June – September. Tour Dates & Times
