Staying Overnight

Two days of adventure is the best way to experience everything Mesa Verde National Park has to offer. Staying overnight is easy at Mesa Verde. There is camping, lodging, and RV accomodations within the park. The surrounding area, especially Durango, also has awesome activities for everyone.

Stay Inside the Park

There are two options for overnight stays inside Mesa Verde National Park. The first is Far View Lodge. The second option is camping or parking an RV at Morefield Campground. There are full services at the campground including fuel, a market, and free RV dumping site. Dry campsites and RV sites are available as well as RV sites with electric, water, and sewer hookups. Group sites are also available. Reservations for both the Far View Lodge and Morefield Campground are highly recommended.

Stay Outside the Park

Cortez, CO and Durango, CO are the closest cities with full accommodations including multiple RV parks and numerous hotels. Campgrounds in the area are also abundant. Look at Camping & Lodging for a more thorough list of area accommodations.
